I didn't have anyone do anything with my account, but went to My Device > Update Device and added the new ICCID. From there, I scanned it and added it to my phone, which then deactivated the physical SIM and activated eSIM.
Just in case anyone was curious, I moved to an eSIM about 2 weeks ago and my plan just renewed the other day, bonus data applied just now. At this point, nothing is the same from the initial Walmart phone activation (actually on the third phone), but seems to be continuing to work.

I successfully activated and got 25GB on one of my phones and now I am ready to get 2nd line ported. Whats the best way to do it so I get bonus data on new line and also not lose bonus on first line. Thanks!

Do it the same way you did the first - activate new line, wait for bonus then port number. You can add as a multiline setup to your first line via the ATT online portal at anytime and it won’t affect your bonus on either line.

    Here is my plan:

1-Currently on Verizon prepaid with 21gb for $50/month.
2-Buy cheap Alcatel ATT prepaid phone from Walmart and activate 25gb plan only.
3-Wait for bonus 17gb data to post.
4-Once bonus data posted, request by calling in porting Verizon phone number.
5-Once number ported over to ATT prepaid, take sim card and insert into the Iphone X Max.
6-Once sim in Iphone X Max, set up autopay for an additional $10 discount to make it $40/month.

Are these steps correct or am I doing something wrong???

Those are exactly the steps I did, except T-Mobile instead of Verizon.

    New customer from T-Mobile:

    1. Got a new phone LG
    2. Ported my number from Tmobile to 25GB plan
    3. Gave them Credit card and they charged $42. with autopay
4.. Customer service told me they will add 17GB after 10 days.

Is there a code I can enter to check data usage? I thought calls to Canada will be free but they are not. but txt to Canada is ok.

You may need that ATT voicemail app.

Hey everybody. I got the bonus data for the first month, but I moved my Sim to google pixel.. I am told I won't be eligible for the 2nd month because I am not using that phone. I went round and round with their technical support with the terms and conditions. They keep reading to me the part that I have to purchase, and activate the phone at Walmart. but I keep asking them where does it say in writing that i have to continue using that phone? They just keep repeating the purchase and activate portion at Walmart.. They tell me you have to continue using that phone, but i told them there is nothing in writing that says I have to. Anybody having any luck fighting this?

Why did you ask in the 1st place? Or who did you ask? And if it was AT&T back to why did you ask?

    Huh?

I have no idea what your asking... BUT..

I called AT&T asking why I never received the bonus data on my 2nd month. They told me I changed phones, changing phones causes you to lose the bonus data.

There is NOTHING that I can find in the terms of service that make you tied to the Walmart phone. Does fighting this do any good?

When i called yesterday to find out about the initial 17gb bonus after joining on Sunday, Jose told me that i would get them in 10 days after joining. Once i renew every month i would get the 17gb bonus after about 2-3 days from making renewal payment. He said i needed to use the walmart phone for 2 months before switching sim card to another phone or i would lose the 17gb bonus.
