    Selectel Wireless Changes

Had not checked out their plan offerings (just renewed a few weeks ago through a reseller) and it seems they have finally bumped up their data offerings on the 2 lower end monthly plans. $30 unlimited text and talk and now 2 GB of data usage before you go down to slower throttled speeds. The $40 unlimited text and talk and now 7 GB of data usage before you go down to slower throttled speeds.

Still do not offer Android phones Hotspot capabilities - Apple iPhones only is their official stance.

RShea is talking about Selectel Wireless.

Sadly, the $30 Selectel Wireless plan still hasn't matched the 3GB PPC provides on their $29.95 plan.

I think Batmobile Wireless said they could still do those Selectel plans with the domestic roaming, but they aren't listed in the plan list on the Selectel site anymore.

    However:

I am on $35 plan and it has domestic roaming and 2GB data. Unlimited talk/text. It works for my family just fine.

Postpaid plans from Selectel cost $5/more per month than prepaid. It sounds like you have a postpaid plan or possibly legacy prepaid. Postpaid plans on Selectel include domestic roaming. They are not shown on Selectel's website, you have to call them to get them. Postpaid plans are the exact same as the prepaid plans shown on Selectel's website but they come with roaming. You may also be able to get such a plan through a Selectel dealer.

You have to call initially but each month when you renew these alternative plans are included in the list you choose from. I'm talking about renewing on Selectel's site using a credit or debit card.

I renew online each month with a debit card and $35 4G w/Canada + Mexico is available on my drop-down menu.
