    T-Mobile 5G plans.. Price, Features?

What do you all think T-Mobile's 5G plans will look like in terms of price and features? I.E Mobile Hotspot, International Data roaming(speeds),
HD steaming included? I'm reading here and there that it won't be more than my current plan. I have The Simple Choice North America with 4 lines +1 (black friday deal 2 years ago)
For 150.00 + my 15% corporate discount which bring the plan itself down to 127.50 a month. All lines includes Unlimited data, 14GB Hotspot and HD streaming and unlimited international data, texting while flying. Would I have to change this plan for a 5G one? Or will 5G be added my current plan?

I'm guessing T-Mobile will let current plans access 5G at no extra cost (which is fair), but I wouldn't be surprised if T-Mobile rolled out 5G plans with better perks at a higher monthly rate to get people to switch over.

I do not anticipate T-Mobile charging more for 5G for older rate plans. Your data plan will work as it does today with the same restrictions written in your plan (480p, 1080p, Mobile Hotspot up to your current limit, etc). Your device will connect to 5G, if available and capable.

T-Mobile has traditionally let customers keep rate plans and features for as long as they keep paying the bill. T-Mobile still lets customers keep super old data features, such as T-Zones and Preferred Web, and these plans were released before LTE (and both of these plans are capable of connecting to LTE).

T-Mobile will only limit your data plan and features to what is included in the plan today, and nothing more. Just my thoughts based on what they have done previously.

OK, I say $129.99 a month, $5.00 off with autopay and free hamburgers at White Castle every Tuesday for the first year.
Pixel 2, Moto X4 & Moto G6 on Google Fi
    iPhone 6S on Verizon Prepaid

So 5G is effectively price hike now is it? This was me thinking it was evolution.

I don't recall a 4G price hike when that technology came out.

Ok Verizon 5G plans are $10 more HOWEVER for that $10 you get ZERO deprioritization while on 5G. You get TRUE UNLIMITED hotspot while on 5G. No limit on video while on 5G. For people that live in a 5G area those perks might be worth $10. If 5G was never a thing and a carrier came out with this plan for $10 extra no one would bat an eye

So far it looks like Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T will make you pay a premium for 5G or at least get their top plans. It's not a stretch for T-Mobile to offer newer 5G plans with a higher rate, but not force people off older plans for the benefits.
