Did AT&T Note 4 (SM-N910A) ever get VoLTE firmware support ?

The T-Mobile variant received VoLTE support about 5 years ago, since T-Mobile made a marketing thing out of VoLTE, and Note 4 was the Samsung flagship at the time.

Threads here indicate that AT&T waited until 2016 until supporting it on the tower equipment, so I am wondering if they went back and supported it in the Note 4 firmware or not?

    Thanks !

I can’t confirm it, but I know AT&T started HD voice with the S4 Mini and later on the S5. I would imagine it has VoLTE.

Looks like it got HD voice in December 2014.

So can we assume that HD voice automatically implies VoLTE? It technically could be done on WiFi Calling without supporting VoLTE per se...

It can be done on HSPA+, but AT&T never implemented it that way, so HD Voice on AT&T means VoLTE.

Great answer because I know here in Canada HD Voice (WB-AMR) happens on HSPA.
