Koodo $55 10GB loyalty plan (YMMV)

    https://forums.redflagdeals.com/kood...-ymmv-2294025/

Anyone here tried getting this plan? It seems the only way to get it for $55 is if you have at least two lines on the account. Or you get a new phone on Tab, as the rep suggested to me.

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Koodo reps, first front line and then loyalty / retention and the best they could do for me was $60. I took it as I was paying $70 for the same plan.

    Others may have better luck.

I went in to get the pro max the other day and called them. Told them some bs about shoppping around and since I didn’t have a tab I could move to virgin who was offering the phone $75 cheaper and the plan 60$ for 12gb.... obvious bs

They came back to me within minutes with the pro max for less than 1000 on a large than, and only $55 for 10gb.

So I’m paying $75 for 10gb with a pro max.

I have a Nova Scotia number with Koodo for many a years. I realised that it would be good to take a plan without data ($35) and add the 10 GB add on for $15. That add-on is only available on invitation. I had, indeed, received that offer early in the year, but didn't take them up on it at the time.

So I had Koodo call me a few days ago to ask them if I could still have that add-on. They said no, because the offer expires after 30 or 60 days (OK), and it would only be available for plans $45 and up (a stipulation I don't recall). However, they offered me an 8 GB plan for $50, which I accepted right away. They carried over my 2 GB add on, so now I have 10 GB for $50 until that add-on expires and the plan drops to 8 GB. Since I don't even need 6 GB that is a good solution for me.

Koodo $55 10GB loyalty plan (YMMV)

I have two lines on my account, I got these plan offers last week, see below. Got 2 galaxy S9 (certified pre-owned) for $0 upfront and $8/months on tab small (so $192 in 2 yrs on each line) sold the phones and made $460 in profits. I have been with koodo for 6 yrs and now pay less for both plans (genuine plans for less than the MB/QC plans) so not planning to move carriers any time soon. I feel like this was a good deal.
