Question Are the Red Pocket Ebay plans still the best deal for a Verizon mvno?

I've had a RedPocket 500/500/500 annual plan (Ebay store) that is coming up for renewal in a few weeks ($84/year). I need a Verizon mvno for the region I live in, near a mountain range. I also use a Google voice # for some of my calling to stay within my 500 limit when I have wifi available, and am thinking of getting another Redpocket plan Unlimited talk and text, 2 GB data ($205/year), but am still looking for another option. Are there any other reliable Verizon mvno pre-paid plans that are comparably priced?

I have been using Tracfone for a few years. I renew it every year. 1500 minutes 1500 text and 1.5gb is 125$ a year. If you do auto refill its like 119. It rolls over so I just re-up every year. I don't use it much though.

I see I didn't clarify that those Redpocket ebay plans renew monthly, so I get 500/500/500 each month for 12 months, - and i would pay $84 per year- it looks like TracFone is a lot more expensive.

Spectrum mobile (uses Verizon) is a possibility if you have spectrum internet service. $14/mo for 1gb unlimited talk & text, or unlimited data for $45/mo.

Looks like that $205/year, $17/month is as good as it gets if you need more than 500 talk and text a month.

I just glanced at Charity Mobile (Politically Driven). I think it's VZW & it seems cheap.

Don't know if as OP stated it's reliable. And if their politics don't bother you....

How is, for example, $39.90/mo for UT&T&2GB LTE + $0.04/MB overage cheap?

But I'm probably missing some gotcha.

Yes. That initial chart is definitely misleading. Look at the link I posted above for the rest of the charges! https://www.charitymobile.com/plan-2gb.html There's a $14.95 "Monthly Plan Price" AND a $24.95 "Monthly Line Price" for the 2GB plan I mentioned above! It's ridiculously high priced! And this is AFTER the prices was lowered from the previous $44.90/mo total for that 2GB/mo plan!

    Agreed!

You may have already seen it, but there's more discussion about Charity Mobile at https://www.howardforums.com/showthr...less-Providers.

Once Ting transitions to Verizon they may be a good option for your needs.

Can't believe my 1 year is up 8/26/19! I have the $240 5GB GSMA plan and want to re-up for another year. Last year I got it for $199 because of a Red Pocket sale combined with an ebay 5% off. I don't see anything like that now, unless somebody on this forum can point me to any deals that are current?
