Free phones with port-in - can we do two of these (and other questions)?

I'm looking at the offer of a free phone with a number port-in, specifically for the Samsung A20.
    1. Can I do two of these port-ins and get two free phones?
    2. Is there a minimum contract time (months) with this offer?
    3. After the contract expires, what MVNOs would the Metro Samsung A20 work on?

OK, I got one answer from the MetroPCS web site. Yes, you can do 2 phones on theiw "Switcher" instant rebate program.

I still don't know the contract time requirement. Anyone?

Looks like there are several good MVNOs on the T-Mobile/MetroPCS network.

There is no contract with Metro, but your phone will be eligible for unlock after 6 months, whether or not the phone is active for that entire time.

So even though you get the $239/phone rebate, you can still change providers after 6 months?

Metro must really be desperate for new customers.

Technically, you only need to stay with Metro for the month you pay for when you switch to them and get the phone. The phone will be unlockable for use with other providers after 6 months regardless of whether it is active for all 6 months. It only needs to be activated and have service initially.

My understanding is that cell phone services live on their new subscriber numbers. Retention doesn't seem to matter.
