Will an Unlocked Note 10 have WiFi calling on Verizon?

Will an Unlocked Note 10 have WiFi calling on Verizon? Samsung is giving top trade in value if you purchase an unlocked Note 10 and it sounds tempting escaping Verizon bloatware.

I jumped on the unlocked version last night the 600 dollar trade in was hard to pass up. The wifi calling should work long as the carrier supports it

Of course or Verizon wouldn't allow it on it's network. how do you expect it to work after CDMA shuts down?

I highly doubt video call or wifi calling with work as that is not baked into the phone firmware by Samsung. I have an LGV40 factory unlocked and I have no wifi calling or video calling.

Should and does are different things. Unless you verified it yourself, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions.

Yes, that's how it usually was in the past. I'm not sure if anything changed, but non Verizon branded devices used to only support VoLTE and no video calling or Wi-Fi calling, even if the same Verizon branded model did.

I think Apple models since at least 8 and Samsung Galaxy series since at least the 9 era should have wi-fi calling work. Pixels it should work too. But I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, since there's no such thing as Verizon branded iPhones, this doesn't affect them. But none of them support IMS-based video calling anyway, only VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling. Pixels are also always non-branded, and they support all 3 things.
