Yes. Your phone idk. Suggest Google & download your phone's manual & find out.

    Phone idk? What's that?

I do have the manual, and don't see anything about this.

So the answer is that some or many phones can do this, but Clueless Guys on their baby flip phones can not? :-)

Does the Doro have a "do not disturb" mode? That mode's settings may have an option to only receive calls from your contacts.

Doesn't seem that will work, but that makes sense as I deliberately chose a phone with limited features.

Are such features common on smart phones?

Yes, most smart phones have a method to receive calls only from contacts.

    Hello again,

To recap, I'm a clueless guy when it comes to cell phones and members were kind enough to help me select a phone and get started. All that worked out great, thanks again.

So I've had my phone for 90 days (spent only $5) and it's time to renew the card, get a new card, or something.

My plan is with H20 (h2owirelessnow.com). I find their website somewhat inscrutable, and I don't really want to give any carrier my credit card, so refreshing my card may not be what I wish to do.

What are my other options? Buy another card on eBay? I tried CallingMart as suggested but it's really hard even to get their site to load, at all. The one time I did get it to load I didn't understand their system.

Changing phone numbers not a big deal, as my wife is the only person who has the current number.

    Any advice most appreciated, thanks.

You could try refilling at this website: https://megasaver.com/pages/auto-refills You would still need to use a credit card or Paypal.

I am not sure what stores still sell physical reload cards. I think Target and Family Dollar used to (maybe Dollar General?).

    Thank mframe,

Regrettably, CluelessGuy can make no sense of the order form you've pointed to, found here:

    https://megasaver.com/products/h2o-w...nt=32923231878

As example, how long is the $30 plan good for, can't figure that out.

However, my wife has found a way around the credit card concerns. Apparently one of our cards has a "Virtual Number" option, that is, a generated card number that is good for only one purchase. In other words, they can't bill you for anything but the original order.

So now I feel comfortable using a credit card, so I just have to find an order form that makes sense to me, and offers a plan something along the lines of $10 per quarter, or $20 for six months, something like that. I spent $5 on calls over the last 3 months, so there's no point in getting an unlimited plan for a higher price.

    Thanks again for any advice!

You would click the little arrow next to the $30, and there would be a drop-down list of other plans. You would select the $10 plan (which is good for 90 days).

Form still makes no sense, but thank you for your assistance.

I'm going to try an order with a temporary card number on another site today. If I can get it to work once, I'll just do the same thing from there each time, which may bring a merciful end to this whiny thread. :-)

Thanks again for engaging, and good luck to you.
