Several Democrats urge FCC to seek additional public comment on T-Mobile-Sprint merge

FYI I quoted the title of article and the article itself from tmonews. Unfortunately it’s political but it is what is is.

    https://www.tmonews.com/2019/08/demo...sprint-merger/

Small excerpt from article and I will quoted directly from article:
“U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar and a group of other Democratic senators today sent a letter to FCC Chairman Pai, saying that the FCC should issue a public notice and seek public comment on the proposed merger. Along with Klobuchar, the letter is signed by Senators Ed Markey (D-MA), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Tom Udall (D-NM), Cory Booker (D-NJ), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY).”
Manners cost nothing, and also have the added benefit of making a man. You know, it is entirely possible to rise above others, without stooping to pushing them under, and putting them down.

Wait, didn’t we all already comment on this on the FCC website? Why would we comment again? Are the old comments no longer relevant?

It's all a delaying tactic. But why not go there and leave more comments in favor of the merger?

I seem to recall thousands of public comments, many of them cut and pasted from some unnamed astroturfing group.

What good would that do? So more un-iformed people can say they are against the deal?

Yeah, such as those who are so uniformed as to believe that Sprint is a strong, competitive viable nationwide carrier.

The same ones that believe Verizon's path to success is dumping unlimited and charging by the GB?

They are probably not getting the overwhelming support for their lawsuit efforts. Too bad the citizens have to pay their salaries for them to pursue their little pocket fantasies about being a major voice for the voting public.

Yeah, they get rich doing all of this, with money stolen from taxpayers rich and poor.

Tom Perez, Chairman of the DNC; read all about him, it will all make sense:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Perez

He cut his teeth in Maryland, under Martin O'Malley.

In many states the AG position is elected in others they are appointed by the governor so if the people do not like what the AG is doing then there a simple solution to that. So the notion that the people are powerless to stop a AG from doing things is BS.

Desperate. Without a paddle they'll try any tactic in the book to get their way. It quite humerus how they will scramble to keep their CWA donation dollars coming in.
