    SIM card removed??

I had my SG5 idle without even touching it and this came up. Didn't want to touch it. Couldn't remove it. Had to reboot phone. This seemed to definitely be bogus. This happened to anyone else?

The SIM card might be starting to fail. Worst case, go to your retail store and get a replacement. Could be a phone issue as well. The message you posted is not typical, but would correct if any of the conditions I mentioned were happening. SIM cards are like any electrical component and can go bad/fail.
Don't make me turn this car around.....
