Samsung A50 on Amazon (US Version) Did anyone buy to use on T-Mo?

This phone has Band 71 according to the specs on Samsung website, but most people who discuss this phone in other sites are not sure if VoLTE and WiFi Calling is going to be fully compatible with T-Mobile?
It's a lot of phone for $300 range, but is it going to work fine with T-Mobile?

GSMarena shows six different models of the A50. Only the Canadian model (SM-A505W) has band 71, or any other LTE bands usable with T-Mobile. It's not dual SIM.

    I have the Latin American version A505G (Bought from B&H Photo) with these LTE bands - LTE: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 20, 28, 66 Bands. I am using it on AT&T. Others have reported using it on Tmobile without any problems.

So far, LTE discovery app has showed I am connected to Bands, 2, 4, 5, or 17

    Thank you for both replies.
DRNewcomb, the one on Amazon is supposed to be A505Uzknxaa
    https://www.samsung.com/us/business/...-unlocked-sm-/

There are specs listed here that points at "Unlocked by Samsung" but it does not mention if it's specifically for the U or G or W model, but the source is the same website when you click "Download Specifications" https://image-us.samsung.com/Samsung...al-8-16-19.pdf

    Bands: B2 / B3 / B4 / B5 / B7 / B12 / B13 / B20 / B25 / B26 / B28 / B66 / B71 / B41

The only solid and reliable source would be if someone actually purchased this and then checked the bands using the app. So far no reviews, hopefully we'll see some reviews dropping in soon.

I have a Verizon one and even though Verizon says its unlocked it only works for an International sim and not a tmobile sim. It works with tmobile for 20 seconds and then says this phone can't be activated.
I spoke about this in a different thread but figured its somewhat relevant.

Thanks! Interesting that Verizon is using the "U" model, that Amazon sells as Unlocked US version. Is it possible amazon is just selling Verizon model, without the Verizon Rom?

Have to be careful with Amazon. Because of 3rd party sellers selling different models. When I bought mine from B&H there was a seller on amazon also selling the same Latin American model. So with amazon, it may be best to contact the seller directly to verify.
