You might not get visual voicemail. From what I understand, AT&T does not like giving their MVNOs options. The only AT&T MVNO that has options like this is Cricket and Consumer Cellular. Funny thing is AT&T just recently started to give their prepaid users the VoLTE option.

That means that you don't have VoLTE.

Prepaid doesn't always get the same features/premiums of postpaid even if it is from the same cellular network/provider.

    No Visual voicemail

Called straight talk and after being on the phone with them for about 45 minutes and getting frustrated with them trying different things they kept telling me to open my app up I tried to explain I’m using an iPhone 8 it’s in the phone dialer I hung up powered my phone down powered it back which I have done multiple times since switching to straight talk and now I have visual voicemail again

CSRs of the Tracfone companies often don't have a clue about VoLTE or Visual Voicemail. It's pretty crummy considering these are standard features now. Non-carrier branded Android phones also have the VVM in the dialer. Branded phones usually have a separate app.

Having a phone that is compatible with VVM doesn't mean a thing if your provider doesn't support the feature. I am not certain that any US prepaid carriers support the feature currently.

I assumed anybody with a capable phone on the Verizon network has VVM. Have had it on Tracfone for over a year. Not sure about T-Mobile service. My lowly T-Mo Tracfone does not have it, and may need the app.

Remember that the cellular provider must provision the VVM feature for it to work. It's not enough to have a capable device.

And VVM would not have worked unless they added the feature to your account first
