In my opinion AT&t should whitelist a lot more unlocked phones for VOLTE usage after 3G is totally shut down.

Might as well shut down 3G sooner. A lot of bandwidth has been moved over to LTE already. 3G data is pretty much running on a skeleton network these days. Pretty useless.

Well I have a problem with AT&t in their lack of support for unlocked phones. AT&t will lose a lot of customers if they don't fix this issue.

What issue in particular are you upset about? In the past I have had no issues with unlocked devices on their network as long as the device has the correct frequencies and specifications.

When they shut down analog/TDMA they automatically sent free compatible devices to users with no specific requirements to activate them.

I've had lots of issues with AT&t and they're lack of support for unlocked phones specifically the Pixel phones. Once AT&t shuts down 3G they'll lose a lot of customers who use unlocked phones. And the fact that they have the proper frequencies to use and still lack support for it is absolutely absurd.

I haven't heard that Att has announced 3G shutting down yet.

No cellular carrier can guarantee that all unlocked phones will allow all features that another carrier offers.

I am not sure how you expect tech support on a device they don't offer/sell.

That sounds like a local issue that I have no information about. That I would refer to tech ll for help. Best wishes.

On the positive note Unlocked galaxy S10 series now have VoLTE on AT&T and cricket. only S10 received the update for VoLTE no other samsung unlocked. AT&T says that they currently working and it will be "Soon" according to their note from software engineer.

wifi calling is not provisioned on S10 unlocked but according to the source it might be in the future updates. as per samsung say they have not received a "thumbs up" from AT&T to enable VoLTE on the rest of unlocked samsung.

How will this effect AT&T MVNOs? Or who knows?
