    Huawei P30 on Consumer Cellular

    Hi,
Anyone here have a Huawei GSM phone and using it on Consumer Cellular?

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a Huawei P30 model ELE-L29 (almost the same as Howard reviewed but not the Pro model) and wondering if it would work on their MVNO bands/system. Any feedback would be welcome!
    Thanks!

Be very careful of China phones because some models do not have proper band support for US networks. Main bands needed are 2, 4, 5, 12/17 for GSM/LTE carriers. According to Amazon's specs that model should have those bands, but you need to double check to make sure.

It's missing the extended bands for both AT&T (14, 29, 30, 66) and T-mobile (66, 71). Not required, but nice to have. Also, it might not be VoLTE certified, so in 2-3 years when the networks turn off 3G, you won't be able to get any voice service.
