Disney+ to be free for one year to all unlimited subscribers-LTE, 5G and FIOS.

    https://www.verizonwireless.com/solu...es/disneyplus/

Starting November 12, get your first year of
Disney+ on us with Unlimited or when you switch
to Fios Home Internet or 5G Home Internet.
    Then $6.99/mo after.

It would have been more interesting if they did the $12.99 bundle, but my guess is they couldn’t while Sprint still gets Hulu for free.

Don't forget that the new Disney+ feature won't be officially rolled out until Nov. 12. More information is still pending.

Unfortunately I’ve already paid for Disney+ so this doesn’t do me any good.

Since it hasn't actually launched yet couldn't you get a refund? Not that I understand why you would want to prepay in advance for a service that doesn't exist yet in the first place.

One thing I read is that it will be free for eligible customers for only 12 months. Full details are pending.

I read that eligible customers who pre purchased Disney + will have the cost paused and resume after the Verizon promo period.

Now... I didn't think that is would see someone who pays for that. I guess I was wrong, people will part with their money that easy.

I'm sure you part with your money on things others would deem foolish It's all relative. I received a special price as a member of the Disney Fan Club (D23) for prepaying ($40 off for 3 years), so I did it, and looking at the awesome and huge amount of content I'll get, the money was well spent. I'm a HUGE classic tv and movie guy, and it will have tons of both

Saving money is one big incentive.

LOL. Good luck with that. I don't think the fUDP is getting any new features - including 5G access.

Is the fUDP even any cheaper vs. the new Play More Unlimited once you factor in a $10/line autopay discount + free Apple Music (FYI: Apple Music is included - not for a trial period) for every line? Now Disney+ is included for a year as well.

Might be time to think about switching. I know we only pay $45/line for 4 lines (after $10/line autopay discount) for Play More Unlimited and we all get Apple Music included. I put my sister and brother-in-law on our account for this reason as it saves everyone a lot of money vs. each family having their own account with 2 lines. $45/line for all of this is stupid cheap.

AFAICT mainly you're just getting a price lock in as the standard annual rate is already $14 cheaper than the monthly rate.

5G can be added for $10/mo

6 lines or more it is usually yes but otherwise usually no.

Unless you are accounting apple music as a feature then maybe IDK my family already uses spotify and wouldn't switch if it was free.

I also really don't like the promos because i'm paying for a monthly service and they are trying to pass off time limited trials as features of their service.

Apple music included is a feature, x months free is shovelware.
