(Advice) Are data Sims for 99 cents still available?

I've been out of the loop on the SIM card arena and thought I might look into a data-only card for my unlocked GSM Moto G3. I recall there used to be deals but you had to know where to look. Freedom Pop website is selling the Sim for roughly 10 plus shipping surcharge. 200 mb of data free but any over will cost. What else is available these days and are there any deals? I would probably do the FreedomPop but I don't want to pay 10 bucks for a SIM card. ty

Freedom pop 1 Gb data plan (AT&T). $39.99 for the whole year. On sale now at Target. They also show $.99 SIM cards.

I would avoid buying the FreedomPop SIMs from FP's online storefront, as they tend to be tied to a "trial" of the non-free service, which later gets charged if you put a payment on file.
Buy a SIM through BestBuy or Target, online or physical store, for less than ten bucks (I think you can buy them or $1 in many stores) and activate later. Then you'll be able to avoid the day one forced upsell of the trial of non-free service and keep the 200-250 MB/month.

You can also find many of Tracfone brands sell SIM cards for $1 at Target and you can pick whatever TracFone brand and plan you'd like.

By my statement I meant TracFone-owned brands and plans: Straight Talk, Family Mobile, Simple Mobile, PagePlus, Total Wireless, Net10 and (if eligible for Lifeline service) Safelink.

You can't use them on an MNO directly or any MVNO operated by a different company, because TracFone's MVNO GIDs are clearly identified when an ICCID is checked by the phone, network, or activation server.

You can use the TF T-Mo SIM on Family Mobile, Simple Mobile, Straight Talk, and Net10.

The TF Vzw SIM can be used for PagePlus, Total Wireless, Straight Talk, and Net10.

The above may or may not be all inclusive.
