Google Messages Problem
I noticed on my phone today that my Messages app is no longer showing Contact information for those text messages that come from Short codes.
It is fine for texts that come from phone numbers.
Contacts is in-tact and even if I add or update a contact from Messages, it does not make a difference to the text.
Any suggestions as to how to rectify this would be appreciated.

The only app that was updated yesterday was Google.

You could use other messages apps like Microsoft SMS, there are alot in Play store
