Confusion over how the new TF card works

There is a relatively new TF card. 30 day, 500 min. 500 text 500 meg.
So I just loaded one. My due date jumped from 1-11-2020 to 2-10-2020.

My confusion is that I normally buy 90 day TMFL cards for my BYOP.
So, it LOOKS like come 2-10-2020, I can just add another 90 day $20 card and keep all those lovely texts?
    Is that correct?

If you phone can use both "traditional" cards and "smartphone" cards, you can mix-and-match them however you want.

Are you aware of this "special" Tracfone e-Bay store airtime offering?
You will receive a complete SIM kit and a separate airtime card.
Tracfone has the description all jumbled up. Just ask here for clarification if your confused.

Wow...but its a bit confusing for a person north of 70...
So you get a sim AND a card? Why do I need a sim?
I do have 4 TMFL sim kits left....

Are you saying I can throw the sim out and just apply the card???? Shazamm if that is true!

I have been buying HSN network phones preloaded with one year of service for time on my Verizon TF phone but THIS CARD is even better than that in some ways.

Yes, that's correct. I've added two of those cards to each of my parents' iPhone SE phones. But I'm keeping the 4 BYOP SIM kits that were received with the airtime cards for possible future use.

The https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tracfone-Pr...a/283493024108 deal on sale for $39.99 is hard to beat!

The eBay listing explicitly says you get a preloaded sim and NOT a separate plan card, so how do you redeem it on an existing phone/plan without switching SIMs?

If you specify a particular carrier, you will get a preloaded sim.

Tracfone's eBay store has two listings for this deal. One listing lets you specify a carrier. The other listing is just a generic sim kit plus an airtime card.

The deal is supposed to attract new customers. It just depends on how you want to go about it.

The fine print is just the usual Tracfone confusion.

There's no way to select a network at https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tracfone-Pr...a/283493024108. So TF has to send a 3 network SIM kit and a separate airtime card to load it onto the network you choose to use. Or to an existing TF line.

Ahh, ok. I was going by the actual listing text. Both listings say the sim is preloaded... but I guess it makes sense that in the one where they don't ask your carrier, how would they know what kind of sim to preload. I'll try it, since it says that returns are accepted.

Since Tracfone is not known for clarity, a few pioneers tried the offers to see what would happen.

Also, the offers are supposedly limited to one offer per customer, but that is easily circumvented.

OK, I ordered one...how do I circumvent? One a day?

Make your purchase using Guest Checkout, don't log into your Ebay account.

Using the Chrome browser, eBay already knows I have an account and does not offer checkout as a guest. I can get it in Edge or Firefox, as they have not been used for eBay purchases.

I don't know this for a fact, but perhaps Chrome needs its Data cleared. It might be retaining the eBay login. Chrome is tricky.
