My iPhone 12 Pro is supposed to come in Friday. Canít wait to test out mmwave next time I go to Syracuse. Will probably be more widespread by the next time I visit. Hopefully it expands to more cities in Upstate NY. Nationwide 5G I donít really care about at this point because it looks like itís performing the same or worse than LTE.

5G nation wide can get better, Verizon just needs more spectrum for it.

Well n13 is at least 18 months away form being a thing. Since they are already using band 2 and band 66 I'm sure what else they can do.

Pretty good speeds this morning in Monroeville PA. There are a few new small cells in the area.

4x48+66 in Roselle Park NJ. I was about .3 mile from the macro site inside my car. Speeds held up well up to about .7 mile and then CBRS dropped off completely at nearly one mile.

The iPhone 12 likes to utilize CBRS, thatís for sure. Iíve connected to it consistently on the macro sites that have it deployed . Hereís a test driving 60 mph nearly half mile away from the site

Wow! I guess I should really consider upgrading fmy XSM to the 12PM to get in on that CBRS goodness.

Is this with 5G turned off? Or is there no Band5 5G in that area?

Any issues with tower handoff / no service problems folks are reporting on Macforums?

Hi ! Yes there is B5 on most of the cbrs macros Iíve seen. You need to keep 5G ďoffĒ because apple has the phone provisioned to aggregate B48 only as PCC. Verizon doesnít have that enabled on the network side as of now. Down the road all of this should change as the 5G networks mature. The x60 will be the modem to be able to aggregate more spectrum in Sub-6 and mmW. Iíve had zero issues with my phone so far . Using dual sim and 3 networks is a great feature.

Another reason to wait on 5G phones. I mean if you're getting a phone for other things other than 5G and it's the only option then go ahead

Yes I had an XS and the screen was shot. So I decided to upgrade to the 12 pro.

Thanks! Yes, Iím hoping to hold out for the ď12SĒ I think particularly for the x60 if possible.

But if all else fails, Iíll just get the 12 on IUG and upgrade in a year.
