    That’s pretty fast.

Obviously there will be some deadspots for the high band frequencies but the pace of small cell rollout with additional fiber optics was and still is occurring at a fast pace. AT&T’s own website as of now shows some missing areas including some not far from me but those areas will be filled in quite quickly. High band 5G should be quite common in high density locations which will have small cells. I would expect lots of fast 5G coverage to be active by this summer in NYC and continuing there after. Hopefully we will see faster than 2Gbps over time.

If I take just my specific location in NYC, AT&T did a large additional fiber optics conduit rollout with their own native fiber optics. Now, all around me I am seeing Crown Castle permits occurring mostly by where AT&T previously did work and who they have a long term contract with. This work has been going on for a long time already.

I don’t have a 5G+ ready device yet and won’t until approximately 2021 or later when the device I want is ready. I want C band satellite spectrum which will be at FCC auction this December so I am holding off till devices come out with all the latest and greatest bands and speed possibilities. I do expect quite good coverage in NYC where speeds of 2GBPS are commonplace.

Also noticed for the past two weeks, 90% of my mobile to mobile VoLTE calls are utilizing EVS-SWB. Calls are insanely clear. Using iPhone 11 Pro & Pro Max. Located in rural northeast lower MI.

AT&T still doing more permits. I didn’t notice the AT&T permits by the Thomas Edison school on Grand Central Parkway before in Queens. Lots of sections still being done for fiber optics across the country.

5CA continues to perform very nicely.

The main site serving Penn Square Mall in NW OKC. This is not the DAS.

I have dual sim so don’t mistake this for being Verizon. I took this test from home to work ( Elizabeth NJ to Kenilworth NJ driving on I-78). It’s an 11 mile drive and boy talk about impressive speeds. This is what dish spectrum has done for AT&Ts performance here . The majority of the sites have 140 MHz deployed ( some 150 MHz with band 29). Its a shame these airwaves will be going back into the hands of spectrum squatters.

Here's to hoping we can atleast keep 15 mhz of band 66 going.
