I've noticed band 66 is only 15 mhz when its secondary. As primary it is 10 mhz. Unfortunate. Attachment 165999Attachment 166000

    AT&T 4G HSPA+/LTE Speedtests!, Round 2

Found an extremely weird small cell. Of course I didnít get a picture. But it looks like a traditional crown castle setup around DE and PA. Which is a cantenna (white in this case, usually theyíre brown), and a brown box.

This one is white as I said and has 4 small (and yet larger than the cantenna itself) 5G antennas around it. Itís quite ugly. No idea if itís Verizon or AT&T as neither use crown castle here (yet) in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. Iíd lean Verizon because of a photo I found online.

Imagine this but white cantenna and 5G panels:

    AT&T: 2003 (gophone) & 2008-2009 & 2013-Present
    Cingular: 2003-2006
    Sprint: 2006-2007 & 2009-2011
    Verizon Wireless: 2001-2003 & 2011-2013

    AT&T 4G HSPA+/LTE Speedtests!, Round 2

Iím glad to see new investments in terms of macro builds popping up in Northeast Edmond, on OKCís northside. This area has been long underserved by other carriers (with US Cellular being an exception), and itís good to see the FirstNet agreement having an impact on suburban & rural expansion.

This new macro will really help coverage East of Interstate 35, and possibly take some load off surrounding sites ó a good thing considering how fast Edmondís population has been exploding.

In the background, the macro to the left is AT&T/Sprint/USCC; to the right is T-Mobile.

The site that serves my momís new house got FirstNet upgrades. When I lived near there last Spring, the site was 12 only... it got 30 in the summer, and finally got other bands today. 4/4/12/14/30/66 confirmed. Weirdly enough, they did two separate B4 carriers, one at 66486 and one at 66586, also known as 2000 and 2100, also known as A block and B block. Iím sure they will fix it, as it went online either today or yesterday.

The speeds from my friendís house who is served by a different sector:

    B block B4 PCC:

    Also supports UL CA:

And speeds from my momís house, 4+30+4+14:

Around me permits have been extended to mid June. I was hoping the small cell project would have been completed already. I am not sure if it will be extended again or if there is more needed work to do.

Here AT&T does two separate B2 carriers - EARFCN 850 (20 MHz) and 1150 (10 MHz). But strange they donít just do one 20 MHz channel there.

That spectrum isnít contiguous, so that makes sense. A and B block AWS are. If they can get a spectrum swap down there Iím sure theyíll widen it to 20 MHz.
