Good to hear this new "feature" is at least a temporary "solid". I'll have to lean more on my old T-Mobile Legacy Gold line when I'm out and about. It's always listening for forwarded calls to my GV number.

Wouldn't you have to refill periodically on the $3/mo plan to prevent your balance from expiring anyways? isn't there an expiration for balances under this plan?

    Yes to keep it going.
I made another 90 minute call last night and again nothing was deducted.

My next day it is supposed to deduct the $3 is May 11th.
My current balance on the $3 a month plan is $4.94.
After they deduct the next $3 I imagine that the account will be over and at this point I don't care about it.
    It will have $1.94 left.
I've gotten my money's worth out of it.
I don't really care about the phone number.

I'm just going to let it go.
I don't need it anymore and I'm sick of keeping track of all of the different lines of service.

Like a lot of us here on HoFo I have more service than I need.
Sometimes the deals are far too tempting.

I was going to make a joke about you should sell it on eBay, and then it occurred to me that somebody might be willing to spend $5 to get a working SIM on T-Mobile.
If I remember right, they could even port in a new number to it.
But of course it's probably not worth the hassle to you, as you would need to change all the account and login info.

Yes that would be too much work for something I don't really care about.

But also setting up a seller thing on eBay would be more work than I'm willing to do.

I'm sleepy right now and shouldn't even be here right now.

Does anyone know if eSIM is supported for Legacy Pay-Go?

I bought a new iPhone SE (2nd gen) and would like to use the SIM slot for Page Plus and eSIM for T-Mobile Legacy Pay-Go.

I think that I will hang onto it for a while longer.
I don't know when T-Mobile will stop the unlimited calling on the prepaid lines but I'm going to try to squeeze a few more 90 minute calls out to this $3 line until the end of it.

Balance is $1.94 but it's still letting me make calls.
Next refill date is June 11th.

I'm just going to see what happens.

If they stop letting me make calls then the SIM will go into the archives of old dead SIM cards.

Finally had a chance to make a call on my Legacy line and, sure enough, no deduction!

Counting on you, Snowy, to sound the alarm when that deal ends!

    Still working.
Another 90 minute call this evening and nothing was deducted from my $3 a month plan.

Still clocking in at $1.94 balance before and after the call.

I did have my last Gold Rewards line phone ready in case the call would have been cut off if they were deducting minutes.

I have a Legacy Gold rewards line that is usually mostly for texts and MMS. A few calls too. It had a balance around $14 when the freeze happened.

The balance has been chipped away at, but most calls and texts have no impact on the balance. Like last week it had been riding at $11.40. I noticed on Saturday it was down to $9.60. So I thought the freeze might be over. But since then texts, MMS and calls have happened and the balance remained at $9.60.

It's still not deducting from my balance as of June 2nd.

I had thought that maybe with the new month starting that they would start deducting from the balance.

I will be sure to update when it changes.

I do wonder what will happen when they deduct from the $1.94 that I have left when June 11th happens.

It's still not deducting from my balance.
Another 90 minute call and everything is the same before and after the call.
