I've had a OnePlus 6T I bought used on swappa for about 2 weeks now and it's been burning through data like nobody's business. I didn't notice it at first because I was around WiFi most of the time. As a test I fired up the browser and did a bit of basic browsing for 5 minutes and it used up more than 15 Megabytes. And this was with "Data Saver" on. Phone is running Android Pie with a RedPocket "CDMA" SIM (Verizon). The carriers' accounting matches what the phone reported.

This isn't normal is it? I'm going away for the holidays and I "only" have a 5gb plan. Any ideas on how I can get it to use data at more sustainable rate? Should I just try to see if I can return the thing?
