Check the electric meter. They are usually labeled.

I thought this was the case too, but not always. A friend of mine near Buffalo, NY has a cell tower behind their house & the only markings I could find say Verizon, but it is in fact an AT&T tower.

Never forget that many towers are not owned by a carrier. Most towers are owned by a tower company and the cellular companies lease space on those towers. There may be multiple carriers on the same tower.

OP: what city/state is that tower in ?
Don't make me turn this car around.....

Wish the USA would just follow Canada (on this one, not much else) and have a federal database of all the locations and just get it over with.

This website scrapes their quarterly exports and puts it onto a nice pretty map for us. https://www.ertyu.org/steven_nikkel/cancellsites.html

Everyone? The only people who care are the wireless nerds on HoFo. This is the techie equivalent of train spotting.

If you use Cricket, I can almost guarantee that it is At&t and not Verizon from what you described. Cricket is owned by At&t.

I use the "Network Cell Info" app to help identify providers.

Check the Apple application store for "Cellular Network" and you should be able to find a compatible one for your iPhone. I don't know a specific application to recommend.
