How do I set up call forwarding on a Motorola Moto E4?

Using Red Pocket on a Motorola Moto E4 with Android 7.1.1. I am trying to forward calls to another number which normally is activated by pressing *72. But when I do that I get a message, "The feature code you've entered is not valid."

I chatted with a Red Pocket agent who told me to go to Settings>Calls … which there is no Calls option under Settings. Even when I tap the phone icon and the action menu>Settings>Calls there is not call forwarding option, only Calling accounts, Voicemail and Voice privacy.

The Red Pocket agent told me there's nothing they can do on their end. A Google search gives instructions that all say it's in the Settings. This YouTube video shows how to do it but I think he's using a Moto E2. In any case, I don't have that menu.

It seems strange to me that there is no way to set up call forwarding from this phone.
My smartphone is a lot smarter than I am.

What carrier though? There’s several carriers redpocket uses. And each have different ways of forwarding.

Assuming by the message you got CDMAS? Sprint?

    You would dial *720000000000

Instead of zeros you would input your number.

Where you doing that? Or just dialing *72?

Yes, Sprint. Sorry about the omission. I tried *72[fwd number] and *72[fwd number]* and continue to get, "The feature code you've entered is not valid." Thanks for replying.

Click the phonebook icon>>>press 3 dots in the upper right corner>>>Settings>>>Calls>>>Call Forwarding. Let us know your findings.

No, this has to be done from the phonebook app. The "Settings" app only allows limited options.

It's usually on the bottom row. On the screenshot it's the lower left icon.

That's what I showed a screenshot of above. I don't have that Call Forwarding option on my Moto E4. Strange.

Sprint has a few call forwarding options. Using *72 is Unconditional Call Forwarding and is charged, which is maybe why it will not work on a RP account. The MVNOs do not get some of the options that carrier customers do.

There may not be anything in call settings, because Sprint works different than some other carriers. This is mentioned in the instructions from Motorola.

For chuckles turn off Voice Privacy and try the *72 again. *73 to deactivate.

Not that is helpful to anyone but Verizon Red Pocket call forwarding and conditional call forward works me. *71 and *72.

Yes, that's the button I am tapping, then Settings>Calls and I have the menu shown above.
