I bought an S10 on Friday the 21st of February. I am rather certain on Monday they lowered the price $10 a month. I am livid that I was not told this, and am still within' my return window for the phone. How can I get them to lower the price down to the $20/month I should be paying? Aren't there price protections for people when the price literally goes down a few days later? And what should I say when calling Fido and which branch should I speak to. I am ready to return this phone if they force me to pay extra.
Thank you very much in advance,

Fritz Z24...
I haven't called yet. I though I would go on Howard Forums first so I was prepared.
$30, it went down to 20 like literally a couple days later. Won't call them today, maybe even not tomorrow, I still have 15 day return, so I can use that as leverage. I need relevant departments to be open, and that's Monday, plus I need more information.
Edit, By the time I got some replies it was too late to call. Tomorrow is Sunday, they tend to keep on the lower ranked people who tend to argue and give nothing. But this has me steamed, like I said, I still can return with my 15 day and they need to know I'm not playing around.

Let me answer. I found out I am entitled to a price adjustment. From fido themselves, however I made the MISTAKE of calling Sunday. A bad attitude CSR who claimed to be retentions even though she was a plain CSR and that department is closed as of calling, told me I had to return and re-order. Doesn't know a thing she is talking about, and costing her company money. Okay, we'll play that game, I will make options to return the phone while talking to someone else tomorrow who knows what they are talking about. I am covered for 15 days end of story.
UPDATE: Talked to someone else who knows what they are talking about. The other rep said they lady HAD NO CLUE, and was the reason why their warehouses were overstocked with refurbished phones. Immediately lowered the price to 19.99 because of my 15 day guarantee.
This is the problem with the weekends, you are transferred to calls centers, sometimes offshore, and the people have no authority to do anything, but act like they know everything. This lone CSR claimed she was retentions.... I went to fido and started a chat with a chap named Jeffrey, really helpful, within a few minutes agreed to lowering the price to what it is currently. Had I listened to the know it all lady, fido, and me, would be out time and money...
I wish they had more competent staffing on a the weekends, and Fritz IS RIGHT. You only have so many days to get this credit so you do need to hurry, as he said. However, these mopes on the weekends have zero idea what they are doing, different rep, different answer. You may even get a CSR pretending to be retentions like I did, lol.
