Thread: Anyone else having major sms/mms issues?

    Anyone else having major sms/mms issues?

    Been going on for a week. Everyone I know with AT&T with iPhones is having it. Shows up red as “can’t deliver” and takes several times to go through. Then they come all out of order anyways to people. People with androids don’t seem to be having issues (on Verizon or TM/S or AT&T).

    Reset network. Reset my phone. Same for my hubby’s iPhones. No help. Can’t say anyone else I know actually did that though. Happening throughout PA and DE.

    Nothing in MN. However carrier aggregation is more broken than it's ever been for me.

    Have you contacted Customer Service yet ? Any issue with voice calls ? Are you and others using iMessage or trying to send via standard SMS ? Have you attempted using standard SMS and not iMessage ? How strong of a signal are you getting ?

    Could be an Apple issue or an At&t issue. Can't say for certain without more information.

    try checking your APN settings - https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1218306/ settings are for both android and ios.

    No. As you can imagine, insanely busy at work buttoning things up. I need to call AT&T and SiriusXM. Spent enough time dealing with Disney and Southwest rescheduling a vacation that was supposed to start tomorrow.

    No issues with voice. No issues with iMessage across any network. Occurs with 300mbps or 18mbps speeds. Upload speeds fine too.

    Issue only lies with AT&T iPhones texting (SMS/MMS) with Verizon and AT&T androids (I don’t know anyone with android on TM/S). Obviously anything iPhone to iPhone is iMessage and thus fine.

    I’ll give it a shot. Why not. Thanks. I thought maybe we need new sims too but it’s happening with others too in the area. Only texting.

    I had a similar issue on Verizon and AT&T on my 11 Pro. A settings reset (Reset All Settings) is what ended up fixing it. I have no idea why that fixed it, but it was one of the last resorts that VZW tech support recommended and it worked. Hopefully it works for you

    Yes, many of my friends on ATT with iPhones are having this issue. Watched someone yesterday actually, she was texting me and experiencing exactly what you described. Had to hit Try Again 5 or 6 times and it finally went through. I'm in PA.

    Had the MMS message issue yesterday on my iPhone 11 Pro. Seems to be working now.
    Your results may vary. Network performance differs per user location.

    Haven’t noticed any issues here in CT. iMessage and regular messaging has been working fine.

    I had the issue as late as yesterday on Text/MMS to Android users on AT&T. Central Texas, iPhone XS Max Latest OS.

    Well I wish it was just me. But I guess it isn’t if we have two from PA, MI, CA, TX, etc.

    So far I haven’t had an issue today...
