What do you use for texting on Verizon and do you have access on pc?

I have been using Google Voice primarily so I can text easily from pc.

I know there is Verizon's message plus. I used it years ago and did not love it.

Just curious what most people use and access to texting via pc?

    Texting from a PC? Why?

    You can email to txt:

Just substitute a 10-digit cell number for 'number' for each carrier below:

AT&T: [email protected] (SMS), [email protected] (MMS)

T-Mobile: [email protected] (SMS & MMS)

Verizon: [email protected] (SMS), [email protected] (MMS)

Sprint: [email protected] (SMS), [email protected] (MMS)

But that’s not really a conversation, per se. not sure, you might be able to iMessage from the iCloud.com for Apple users.

You can use Google Messages, which is standard on many non-VZW branded Android phones. It has a feature called "Messages for web", which basically uses the PC as a terminal to operate the phone's messaging system. On the PC it looks and works the same as on the phone. Works on cell network or W-Fi. I use this 90% of the time because it is a lot easier to type and add attachments, links, etc.

Yes, Google Messages is not liked much by many. It does fine for me with my minimal use. It also has RCS Chat for for what little that's worth at this time.

I use the stock message app on my phone - Google messages and TextPlus. They do the job very well for me.

    Using Android.

I currently have Google Voice and it is very convenient to type at a pc. There are many situations, but I dont think thats necessary. I am thinking of porting my GV back to my mobile carrier, but I like the convenience.

Google Messages for me, it supports RCS and I can chat with my brother who has RCS on his phone.
