Even though they said Raliegh NC has 5g+ on their own map itís not even in Raleigh. Itís on a toll road through Cary/Morrisville NC. Didnít want to test it out so I just returned my phone. I mean they were all saying they were letting businesses IN Raleigh test out their 5g+ network using either the s10 5g and the netgear nighthawk 5g (which neither was released) early last year so what businesses in Raleigh was it???

Iím around Downtown pretty frequently, and I avidly scope out wireless performance/sites/small cells, etc across our metro ó which isnít easy considering our land size is roughly twice the total size of NYC, or 30% larger than LAís metro.

I would continue checking around, and as you mentioned, tourist areas will likely see it first.

So you go around to known towers and test their speeds/5g notification to see if theyíve been updated? What phone are you using? Ultra?

Seriously right. It makes WiFi look like garbage. We should just have multiple, Ethernet connected, mmWave Picocells in our homes.
