Verizon home and car LTE booster

Bought a new home, looking for recommendations to solve being in a cell dead spot at the home and for a few miles in every direction. Wifi calling of course...but we have a large bit of land, so that isn't really an option.

The house does have an antenna that (seems) was used for OOMA or something:

Would hope to use that antenna for in and around the house and get another one for the car too.

    Thanks for the help.

    Unfortunately that's just a TV antenna. . . . . .

Are you sure AT&T doesn't work there either?

My vote is for WiFi calling. Get a mesh router setup and place a mesh unit as close as possible to the outside or even outside if you have an area where you could cover it from the elements and run power to it. 2.4GHz WiFi travels pretty far - much farther than the Verizon LTE Network Extender which only covers ~50 feet radius.

That said, I have no idea what you mean by a "large bit of land". 1 acre? 10 acres? And how much of that land do you need blanketed with coverage?

Unfortunately cell boosters won't help outside the house due to the way they are designed. (Feedback issues)

Mesh Wifi can help outside, but it can get pricey.

Your best bet is to use Outdoor wireless access points to extend your WiFi.

    Something like the TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor.

Forget the MESH, turn off the WiFi in your router and get real, commercial, Ethernet connected access points inside and outside your home.

The TP-Link 225V3 are great for indoors. I have 2 or these, and outdoor, and an OC-200 management device.

Check out the TP-Link business forums (on their website). There’s a guy there now setting up his 50 acre ranch.
