Where's the dialtone?
i know the 8100 it was possible to use the full mp3 and then make them as ring tones but i want to know about the 8300 if it is the same thing

dammit man u gotta read. Bitpim is the program that you use to transfer files over to your phone. An additional method is via this site http://mp3ringtones4u.com/howto/index.htm
make sure your mp3 is under 30 seconds and under 350KB

the 8100 cannot set sounds in text messages as ringtones!
dammit man, u gotta read b4 u post, mp3rintones4u.com will NOT work.
the only way to put ringtones on a vx8100 is with bitpim and a usb cable/bluetooth

Dude I think you should read the guys post and realize how WRONG you are. He is not asking about the 8100. He is asking about the 8300. This method works 100% with the 8300 http://mp3ringtones4u.com/howto/index.htm. LOL if you can't even read his question correctly who are you to make assessments pal? Anyhow as I said before, make sure your file is under 350kb.
