    TF not in service

    the number u have reached is not in service... i can call out send text and Receive but cant get in calls i text support they checked told me to reboot but zame results. i have a 1 year sim s7 edge running aosp extended 8.1.0

    If you have another compatible phone, try swapping the SIM into the other phone and vice versa to see if the problem follows the SIM or stays with the phone.

    switched phones i have a S8plus stock nougat no change im in Michigan washtenaw county Ann arbor a Ypsilanti but dont know what Carrier specific tower tmobile or attt?
    but i do have a tmobile tracfone sim

    So then something is wrong with the SIM. It might have a messed up activation. You can have Chat give it another try, but make sure they document the airtime before messing with it.

    3 tech support persons all claimed to worked on problem test calls ok. but when i call from backup phone same problem also i called from landline last night same thing

    I suggest a new SIM. The techs probably don't have the tools to fix things. Plus, if you use the call-up support instead of Chat, you get the lowest of the low help.

    You could try getting upper-level support, but that will be a project.

    I know it's a pain, but a new SIM kit is one dollar at Target, and it couldn't hurt to try a transfer.

    Sorry phone messed up

    at this point im wondering if buying a new sim and transfer my mins data to one will solve my problem

    How did you activate the present SIM?
    Do you know for sure which carrier the SIM is for? 890126 = T-Mobile, 890141 = AT&T, 891480 = Verizon
    What service is actually better in your area? T-Mobile is often spotty. May be good, then fall off a few miles away.

    No telling what effect there is from running on a rooted phone with custom ROM (AOSP). SIM could be fouled up.
    I would transfer service to a new SIM and first try it in the stock S8.
