We might be able to partially blame Google for this one. It looks like Google decided on future Android versions, to use 5G+ on the status bar to indicate mmWave, 5G for mid/low band, and 5Ge for whatever flavor of "LTE+" AT&T has been pimping as 5Ge...

If you post the location of that tower... You could probably look it up on cellmapper.net
Not all 5G (nr) have been mapped - as many do not have 5G devices/plans.
In the location of that cell tower in cellmapper.net (Provider = 310410, Network 4G or 5G).

Note: 5G towers haven't been geotagged
    AT&T... your world, throttled.

So this and also Opensignal are useless in identifying 5g nodes/etc? I used open signal and it only showed Verizon having 40+ mbps speeds at the towers location. But that canít be just a Verizon cell site or even just a 4g lte site. Wishful thinking I guess but Iím praying itís not just a LTE site.

This is a plain LTE site. Nothing 5G about it.

Itís not just Verizonís but thereís no 5G. That bottom panel might be 600 MHz T-Mobile ď5GĒ, but thereís nothing mind blowing on here.
