    My order

    I ordered a SIM card for a new plan 6 days ago. To date it has not shipped. Does it always take this long?

    I have an email telling me it is in progress. It’s been a week

    No, it is not normal.

    Keep in mind that if the SIM cards were not in inventory at the time of the order, they could be on back-order. You could do an internet chat with customer service to make sure there wasn't a problem with the order.

    I have tried chatting and calling and emailing. I did absolutely no response. I’ve canceled the order as of right now and I’m going to try to process the order again

    Just about any AT&T store, dealer, or even Walmart/Target should stock these... AT&T stores have a contactless method by pulling up to the store and calling a number posted outside the store if that is a concern.

    I have always found going to a corporate store for any activation to be a far easier experience than any other method.

    No its not normal. I ordered service on Sunday, the sim shipped out on Monday.

    Don't forget that the OP first posted almost 2 weeks ago and hasn't responded whether or not he got his SIM or why it was delayed.

    No. Never got the SIM card and no one can tell me where it is. I canceled that order and went with Verizon
