Question SUQ about the backgrounds on lock and home screens

The cutsie backgrounds on the lock and home screens on the new A51 are driving me nutz! (short trip) On my old Sky I figured out how to set the backgrounds to solid black but I'll be danged if I can remember how I did it. Anyone?

You hold your figure on any empty space, and then you select Wallpaper, but I do not see a way to select the solid color. So you will need to download a wallpaper that is a solid color.

On my A50, I use Black Onyx which is on Galaxy Theme app for my wallpaper.

Thanks. I know how to change wall papers. I don't know how to change the wallpaper AND lock screen just to black.

At least on my various Motos, if I hit the Set button, it asks me if it should apply to the Home screen, the Lock screen, or both.

Yea, I do not see a way to set it to black only unless it is a wallpaper.

Yes, Motos have lots of solid color choices. I set mine to Black on both screens, and the funny thing is the Home screen shows Black, while the Lock screen shows Wallpaper.

I get my wallpapers on Google Play, but can just take a picture and then choose to set it as wallpaper for home screen or lockscreen. Most phones allow that option.

A nice scenic view or even just cover the camera lense so there's no light (face down on a surface) and the result should be a black or dark featureless image that will serve as black backdrop for either home or lock screen.

Sorry, I should have updated my post. I figured it out. Have my cat as a lock screen and a custom home screen background as well.
