Unreal Mobile has infested my phone

Never mind, I somehow got the SIM cards mixed up while swapping.

tl;dr How can I get rid of all traces of Unreal from my phone, so I can revert to my FreedomPop free LTE sim

I have one FreedomPop SIM left, which I keep in my backup phone as a "just in case" service. For a while I had need for more data than normal, and was traveling to areas with spotty coverage. My main phone was T-Mo and I had an Unreal Mobile (ATT) 3 month plan that I had bought on clearance, so I moved the FP SIM to my old backup phone and installed the Unreal SIM in my current backup phone. From the beginning they did not seem to co-exist well - logging in to Unreal on the backup phone would cause the old backup phone to show usage data from Unreal, not FP.

My 3 months are now up, and I want to go back to FP on the backup phone. However, it automatically connects to Unreal, showing the phone number/plan/usage from my expired plan.

    Things I've tried:

    (1) logging out of my Unreal account, and in to my FP account in the Unreal app. Change is reverted on reboot.

    (2) Uninstalling the Unreal app, installing FP apps. Still automatically syncs too Unreal.

    (3) Changed APN to FP settings. No difference.

    (4) Reset network setting, reboot. No difference.

Probably a number of other things I'm forgetting.

    Any suggestions?

Try doing a factory reset. Be sure to back up photos, etc. beforehand because it will wipe out everything and return your phone to "off the shelf" condition.
My smartphone is a lot smarter than I am.

If you are using an Android phone try going to Settings > Apps and selecing the FreedomPop app and tapping Storage and then CLEAR DATA. That *should* clear out all the metadata the FP app has saved.

Cleared the data and the cache, no change. Tried again with a restart, no change.

A system/hard reset is your next, best option as it will restore the phone to factory settings. You can restore the applications you wish to do so and ignore the ones you don't want. Which phone make/model and operating system verion ? Best wishes.

I'm hoping to avoid the nuclear option, but it may come to that.

Nextbit Robin, Lineage OS 15.1 (I believe).

I cancelled my Unreal account, so now the phone isn't logging in to that account/getting that number. Now I just have to get it linked back to my FreedomPop account. Never had trouble swapping SIMs before, but I think the fact that FP and Unreal are parts of the same company caused issues.

Sorry, no personal experience with that make/model phone or the OS. Best wishes.

Operator error, fortunately or unfortunately. Somehow I mixed up the SIM cards. Edited OP.
