    New T-Mobile Sound

So, I'm sure you are all aware of T-Mobile's classic chime/ringtone sound they've used in ads and as the default ringtone:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7MI5Rs0Pss

But after the merger with Sprint, it looks like they are shaking thing up, almost like a nod to Sprint's legacy?

It does mean there is a new sound being played on videos and commercials:
    https://www.mboxdrive.com/New-T-Mobile.mp3

So, I have an honest question and my own honest opinion.
I personally have always disliked the original T-Mobile sound.
    It's too loud and pingy/screamy.
(AKA, it makes my own ears bleed.)

But what do you all think?

Did you like the Old T-Mobile sound or do you like the new one better?

Would you prefer the Old Sound or the New Sound as your default ringtones and on ads?

Somewhere between the two. The old one is too much treble & the new one not enough treble.

If this is a nod to Sprint or the Sprint merger, which I think it is, what exactly was Sprint’s sound? There are lots of phone boot sounds and chimes on YouTube. Then there is the pin drop tones. Wonder if these are worked into the new tone?

You know, I've been hunting for the one sound they used after the Nextel merger, which was similar to the pin drop, but seemed a bit like a longer tone thingy.

Also wondering if there was some Nextel worked in there. Also thought of some of the old ReadyLink alert tones.

The old one is annoying when few phones sound same tone once.

Neat! Like the pin drop with more bass.

I never was a great fan of the existing but didn't really care.
The new one sounds muffled and overly synthesized.
    AT&T... your world, throttled.

The old one makes my ears bleed from a mile away, and makes me cringe from 10 miles away.
(A bit of an exaggeration on distances, but I can literally hear it for a loooong ways. Like I know every time my neighbor on the other side of the block gets a phone call.)
