Well it at least means 3 months of paid Metro service by autopay. And probably an original payment for the phone of some amount over $50 to be refunded or credited to your acct after that 3 months.
I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.

Visible (Verizon) UTT & Unlimited Data $25/mo
    Liberty Wireless (T-Mobile) UTT 07.26.21
    T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 01.11.21
    Truphone (AT&T) every 180 days by 02.06.21

Yep. $300 instant rebate. $50 gift card after 3 months autopay "on qualifying plan." They don't say what qualifies. Must port in. In store only. Etc, etc.

It's [mostly] in the fine print:

the $50 rebate is a virtual gift card that can be used online only, instantly issued via text message after 90 days

must setup auto pay sometime before the first bill comes due

    all rate plans qualify

i have heard mandatory auto pay is going to become a part of a lot of upcoming handset promotions, especially in cases where higher cost handsets are involved

It also appears that the Metro policy for unlocking is still 6 months. If you live in an area with good T-Mobile coverage, and there is an acceptable plan for you, this is a good deal.
iPhone 11 is my current primary phone. But I have more phones than lines. Back to only Prepaid with the changes in the economy.

so i would pay $100 for the phone in store then after 90 days they give u $50 back in a visa card?

    theres also this
"See store associate or metrobyt-mobile.com for redemption rebate forms, "

so u gotta do a rebate form as well?

That's what the metro link says. You'll have to visit a store to get the full story. Looking at posts on Slickdeals, experiences vary: activation fees, minimum monthly plan, taxes.

I'll revisit this in 2021 if the deal still exists, but not sure I want to be beholden to Metro for 3 months to get the full rebate and 6 months to unlock.
