Visible is LTE only and needs to have the phone compatible with their cloud based network. What they have in their shop is pretty indicative of what will likely work. Others might work with an APN change, or firmware flash, but there's no guarantee, and no support for non-approved phones if it stops working.

here is a list of devices officially supported via BYOD https://www.visible.com/help/compatible

Yahoo Mobile and Visible are the same service with different brand names. Compatible phone list looks the same for both services. Unless you need the enhanced Yahoo Email Visible is a better deal at $25 with party pay. Other forum posts seem to indicate the support is the same.

Plus Yahoo Mail Pro that is an ad free version of Yahoo Mail.

Prefer to save $15/month and just use $25/month Visible Party Pay.

Hi guys thanks for replies not gonna do party pay. However I have a 7pro from T-Mobile that I converted to internation as I mentioned in the Op. Also have a 4a which is supported.

Does it require an app to work?

you need to use an app for registration, but afterwards it is not required. I think you can check your account info balance due etc via the app. But it is no mandatory, other than first activation.

Note with Visible with Party Pay that is similar to the old Sprint "Framily" plan where people are usually not related. The 4 people in the party are anonymous with masked names and phone numbers and only responsibility for your own phone line. If someone leaves or doesn't pay their bill the discount is less and you just replace the person who left to get the full discount. Best way I've seen for getting into a party or adding people to existing one is a post on the r/VisiblePartyPay section of Reddit...normally listings fill within a few minutes.

    That's true!

But for whatever reason, punishedsnake doesn't want save $15/mo, or $180/year, by being in a Visible Party Pay group.
