    UMIDIGI A7 Pro 4gig/64Gb $97

but the 4gig/128gig verion is only $12 more?!

seems like a no brainer to get the 128gig version?

    edit:
Anyone have a coupon code for free shipping?

I had that phone for a year before switching to the current generation G Power. If you can deal with a less than delicious 720p screen, then that's a solid buy on that device.

When you scour the budget lineup, trade-offs have to be made!

$131 is not throwaway territory for me but close.

Does the Umidigi A7 Pro work well on both ATT and Verizon? I'm thinking of getting one.

Hopefully someone with an A7 Pro will give their opinion. Available on eBay for $103.

I have a F1, F1 Play and an S3 Pro on Red Pocket Verizon and working well enough. I've also tested on T-mobile and ATT(Freedompop) and nothing out of the ordinary.

If I was buying a new Umidigi phone today, all else being equally good or bad, I'd go for the F2 for $175 or S5 Pro for $223 on eBay. The better processor, battery and 6gb of ram might lead to better overall satisfaction down the road.

Tried it on Total Wireless (Verizon) before, and it worked good. The IMEI will likely not show up if you try to activate it online or through customer care, but it worked fine just swapping a SIM into it from a previously activated phone.

Was looking at the specs for the Umidigi phones mentioned. They are all heavier than my Moto G6. Any "budget" phones that are lighter weight that are not Moto?

Lol! Someone recommends a fairly powerful flagship comparable phone at a better price than most budget phones and first thing that comes to mind is they want one that's lighter(made of cheaper materials) which would negate all the features that makes it beat the other guys.

The heavy component is the high capacity battery and the quality metal/glass construction. Without those, you mighty as well be looking for some tracfone derivative cheap plastic LG in the 50$ price range along with all the drawbacks and negatives.

For anyone interested in a rugged, IP68 water resistant phone at budget prices, I just found this little gem. Looks like a decent phone for the price and am considering getting one to add to my harem of unlocked phones.

Just snagged a bunch of Sprint Galaxy A50's from the Wally clearance. If you can call the A50 a budget phone it's a really nice one. Been comparing it to my Galaxy S9+ for a few days and it's surprising how good cheaper phones have become.

$74 (if you can find one). More info about it here
Detailed instructions / info on how to get the phone device-only, no account or line upgrade required
The thing is brickseek is notoriously inaccurate, at least the few times I've looked for something supposedly in stock, only to drive there and find 0 at the store.
