I need recommendations for a bluetooth earpiece

Well, my old (formerly) faithful Plantronics Voyager earpiece finally bit the dust. I need to replace it with one that has a clear signal and loud volume to use in the car with windows down. The one thing I didn't like about the Voyager is the magnetic connection with the charging cable that never made a good connection. I would connect the earpiece to the charger and walk away only to discover hours later that there was no connection although the magnets clicked together. Maybe they have replaced the magnetic connector on newer models since this Voyager is several years old.

Any suggestions? I don't need a lot of high-tech features, just take incoming calls while on the road.
I have several used cellphones for sale in my Bonanza booth.

Hey you should try out the galaxy buds live. I've been using them and it's my all time favorite I've used so far. There's a seasonal sale happening now for $139 from $169. I did have the plantronics voyager edge and plantronics 3200 in the past. Call quality seems just as great as the 3200. I haven't had a chance to test them with the windows down, but here's a link for a youtube review I've found. The call test is at the 4:00 mark.

I am not sure about Pennsylvania, but in most states it is illegal to wear a headset while driving. It is considered a distraction and a safety concern. Just thought it should be pointed out. A stand-alone, regular Bluetooth speaker would be OK.

You can't have something in or on both ears. One ear ok.

    Here's what I found:

"- Drivers would still be allowed to talk on the phone if using a Bluetooth or hands-free device."

Interesting news article for PA, but not exactly what the OP is asking in the thread topic or what I mentioned earlier.

Years ago I was a legal editor and reviewed the traffic codes of different states. Unless things have changed, you can have one ear covered which is why a bluetooth earpiece is legal. By the same token, one earbud would be legal. With an earbud I would still need to keep the phone near me for the mic. I imagine I could use one of those clips with a suction cup that attaches to the windshield or fits in the coffee mug holder. But then, if I had that I could just put the phone on speakerphone. My Plantronics Voyager with the built-in mic was great because I could hear callers clearly and they could hear me clearly.
