Anyone have a Verizon laptop plan?

If so, which laptop are you using and what does your plan look like?

I just got a Lenovo Flex 5G and can't choose an "unlimited" (throttled in times of congestion) plan. I'm stuck with up to 15GB/30GB and then immediately throttled to 600Kbps.

I've tried contacting customer support twice and the last rep told me I'm on a connected device plan and it always throttles after 30GB.

If I go and add a Samsung Chromebook to my plan - I can choose the unlimited plan (only throttled during network congestion times) and I also get 50% off for being on the 'Get More Unliimted plan.

My Lenovo Flex 5G I'm paying $30 for the 30GB plan (then throttled) and not getting 50% off.

Does that sound normal? I don't think I'd have gone for a $1400 laptop if I knew the data wasn't unlimited. Especially when I could have gone with the cheaper chromebook instead.

Weird, I would have thought they'd just have the same plans across the board more or less. Maybe Google has some deal with carriers to get slightly better plans than the general connected device plan?

It's probably under the asinine assumption that windows "will use more data" than ChromeOS
