Does anyone know what promotions will be offered for Apple devices for Black Friday?
Thanks!

GoogleVoice (domestic call forwarding and cheap intl. calls) Use GV to give us a "home" number in a 2nd location
8 T-Mobile lines - Unlimited talk and text, data. TM One plan. Get $10/mo. rebate on 7 lines for low data use. Net cost about $185-190/mo. We haven't had a landline in more than 17 years.
I mean considering Apple makes a $400 device (with a processor that's "last year's model") on par or more powerful than the "current" S20, or most average laptops for that matter.. one does not necessarily "need" to worry when they're on sale.. but it does not hurt to get a deal when you can

vs S20

T-Mobile: Magenta Amplified (airline employee plan)
AT$T: $50 Unlimited Elite Prepaid promo (for more “rural” areas)
Apple single core speeds will be hard to beat. This made me curious so I tested my Note 20 and it seems the Note has faster clock speeds than the S20. My Note 20 score was 957 single core/3269 multi-core.
Imo, Apple's prices are decent considering they support both layers of 5G but you're right.....it's good to save money when you can.
Black friday deals has never outdone new iphone promotions. Meaning, the best deals for iphones are now.. buy an iphone for example get 230 by traiding an iphone 6, 6s or the SE plus get another 200 for being a customer 5 years or more.. thats 430 off.
But for other apple producs, amazon often has the best deals.
This is a pretty nice deal if you're using T-Mobile:

I'm actually impressed how much the generational leap from last year to this year was as well.

I am eager to get my base macMini (replacing the 2011 that's finally totally aged out) to test how good the ARM transition is going, and how well that M1 chip performs before replacing any "expensive" machines in the house.
When do Black Friday sales for T-Mobile come out usually? On Black Friday or before?
I ran an ARM Chromebook (Acer Chromebook 13), I booted it into Ubuntu Linux off an SDCard (originally 16.04 but I persuaded it to upgrade to 18.04 while keeping the nvidia drivers etc. working). This had a Nvidia Tegra K1, quad-core (+ 1 low power core) 32-bit ARM, with NVidia graphics about equivalent to a GTX 650. It ran VERY well, and was a beast when encoding videos (and had a 20 hour battery life under normal use, 24+ under light use, and 10-12 hours still running video encodes and such.) The newer-model 64-bit ARMs are substantially faster than what was in there, I don't think Apple will have any problem keeping performance up on their ARM-based systems.I am eager to get my base macMini (replacing the 2011 that's finally totally aged out) to test how good the ARM transition is going, and how well that M1 chip performs before replacing any "expensive" machines in the house.

It's weird because it still says their black friday sales are coming on their black friday page.
Is black friday different than holidayon?
Anyone get in on this T-Mobile Galaxy A71 5G deal for $200.00 or less with trade-in directly from Samsung? Been thinkin about doing it with an old Android.

I had been on the fence about doing it, but your question prompted me to look into it again. Even though I had gone through the trouble to get devices with Band 71 (600 Mhz), now I just read that TMO is dropping LTE on it for all NR (5G).
I figured what the heck, that's really cheap for a great 5G phone (I will use an old Android trade-in). It is locked to TMO of course, but I will use it with my Prepaid or MVNO line.
Grabbed me an iPhone Mini for free by trading in an old iPhone 8 I had laying around. Also, got a free line! Nice holiday grabs.
