If they made this Unlimited Talk I'd have to have a strong think about coming back to RP. It's not even that I talk much it's just in case the shtf or I'm on endless hold calls to institutions.
I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.

I'm migrating to Tracfone next month because of an awesome deal on a bundle of phone and service. I've had a lot of problems with RP. Perhaps we'll return after the year is up and we can unlock the TF phones.

It's a love/hate relationship with them. There are periodic issues (gsma) due to their doing. But, for the price it's hard to beat. Line is used by a retired individual on fixed income. Some years back was paying $20/month for nearly identical service.

Their 360 day plans forced me to switch my wife to Net10 because she needed unlimited texts this year. After many years on Red Pocket her plan ended on the 21st. Just a few days earlier and I could have avoided hours on the phone (port out was a PIA.)

I once bought a GSMA plan with them and could not get it to work properly. Any idea why they keep having issues with GSMA?

I guess I wasn't alone, however my problems were with CDMA. Of course it's working perfectly now, just when I'm switching.

My issues were primarily with features/settings getting changed _without_ my asking.. IE voice mail forwarding number getting reset (most recently), or some time ago, account not renewing properly. You get what you pay for.

I bought one of those sims / yearly plans back on Black Friday, cost me something like $103 with taxes. Went with CDMA (Verizon) and threw it in an old Verizon phone I had laying around. Just for a backup, for that price why not?

I was just looking at my account earlier today, and it showed me with 615 minutes remaining. WTF? I don't think I've talked more than 10 or 15 minutes on that phone since I bought the SIM. Oh, well, as long as it doesn't run out, who cares?

You can contact customer service to get a detailed call log. Had that happen recently. Some nearly 500 minutes used up. Turned out even though the call ended, the system kept the clock going. They added those minutes back. This was on gsma though.

I had the reverse case earlier this year when I was on the 100 minute GSMA plan. I was on some long conference calls, using Wi-Fi calling, and it didn't decrement the voice minutes. Only when I was on cellular.
iPhone 12 Pro is my current primary phone. Not yet signed up for 5G.
