Help porting # from Twilio to T-Mobile

Hello Everyone,

I'm a Canadian moving to the US. I've had a Twilio US# that forwarded to my Canadian Cell for over 5 years and now I'd like to take it with me to the US.

On T-Mobile's website it says No when I search it and when I called they said it's not possible to port it. Any ideas or experiences?

How did you get it done?
Online and on the phone both told me it can't be done.

Is there a port-in department at T-mobile or at a T-mobile store?

Is it possible it's in an area where T-Mobile doesn't provide service? In cases like this, the number cannot be ported. Can it be ported to Sprint? T-Mobile in the process of integrating their stuff, so if it can be ported to Sprint I assume it'll be able to be ported to T-Mobile pretty soon.
