Data Sim Prepaid providers like Google Fi

So I decided to get a Kindle Oasis with LTE at woot this morning and was looking for a low-cost pay as you go data only sim plan to use with it.

At the moment I am a Google Fi subscriber, so their pay as you go data only sim is perfect. However, Google Fi isn't the cheapest option when it comes to their non data only sim plans and I may not keep them around for much longer.

Are there any other good options for very small amounts of prepaid data, preferably with long expiration dates?

1gb per month currently on sale for $39.99 will cover you for a whole year. as far as non expiring or long expiration data only i do not believe it exists except on international eSIM services.

you might also be able to get a t-mobile 5gb for 5 months for $10 data pass intended for an iPad

only way i know to get that is to activate the SIM in a eligible iPad and than move it to another device

Red Pocket 200mb/month for 1 year at $30 on ebay might also work if you need even less data than Best Buy's FP deal.

Tello has 500mb a month for $5. Plus unlimited 2g speed afterwards. I would imagine downloading a book wouldn't take too long even at the slower speed.

i just realized we are talking about a kindle ereader device, doesn't the Oasis come with free unlimited 4G service for book downloads ?

I am not sure that was obvious on woot, but it sure is on their Amazon page. Really a no-brainer for $20-30 more...
