Total Wireless Group Text Issue

My family and I are on Total Wireless. When we do a group text, I sometimes get a message:

"Message expired or not available."

Does anybody know a fix for this?

Is this RCS or SMS group messages?

It is SMS group messages.

Some phones require MMS to be allowed to receive group texts. If MMS is off it usually still gives a button to turn it on for that text.
