My dear mother lives in the sticks. She's using a Moto G7 Optimo Maxx from Straight Talk, on Verizon towers.
I want to get her a used iPhone that will work with her service and the VZN signal seamlessly. I'm looking for an iPhone 7 Plus or 8 Plus that I can switch out and get rid of her old Android phone.
I'm having trouble finding Straight Talk phones that are guaranteed to be Verizon's network. Can I buy a used Verizon iPhone on eBay and activate it with her ST Plan?
What are my options to get her a giant iPhone but keep her on the VZN towers, the only towers that really work in her exact location? I forget how to identify ST VZN phones/boxes, and there are no good deals on Walmart or StraightTalk's website for anything older and within her budget.
Any thoughts on how to proceed?

We are happy with the service, that's why I am wondering what phone to get so I can keep my Mom on her Verizon-tower StraightTalk Unlimited plan.
Most of the Straight Talk phones are using Verizon towers unless you are in an area without Verizon native coverage.
Another idea is to get an unlocked phone that supports Verizon and use a BYOP SIM.
That's what I did. I bought a Google pixel original world phone. As soon as I received the phone after ordering it off Amazon for about $100 bucks, I stuck my SIM card from Verizon in it and it automatically adopted the phone into the network and I didn't do have to do anything else. It was a seamless transition. Til this day no issues at all whatsoever. Good luck

Yea, the only thing that is mainly needed is VoLTE right now because you do not know when Verizon is going turn off their CDMA network right now.
