I have had a Moto G Power for about 6 months and have not experienced volume fluctuations during a call. I do have low volume on the ringing signal on outgoing calls. I ignore it.

Anyone with a Moto G Power notice wild fluctuations in earpiece volume during phone calls? Another thing I noticed is you can barely hear the ring when calling some numbers even with the volume turned all the way up.
I already took one phone back and the replacement phone is doing the same thing. What's weird is it works fine when you first get the phone but then after all the updates the problem starts back up.
I also have a Moto G Stylus but it does not have this problem.
Any input would be appreciated
UPDATE: Just did a factory reset & same issues. . . . Sucks you only have 14 days to return. Would like to see if a solution is available, but don't want to get stuck with "another" malfunctioning phone.

Thanks for the feedback. What's weird is volume is stable when using wired or Bluetooth earbuds. (Except for the super low ring) The earpiece issue seems to be getting worse the more I use the phone.
Thinking it has something to do with the last update which addressed audio feedback issues when making video calls. (Which I haven't tried yet)
Guess I'll just use the Stylus phone which is pretty nice except battery is not quite as good as the G Power.
